Gregor Podnar
Born 1970 in Kranj, Slovenia/Yugoslavia. He graduated at the University of Cologne from History of Art, Ethnology and History of Eastern Europe. Since 1993 he works as a freelance curator, from 1996 till June 2003 he has been the artistic director of the Galerija Škuc in Ljubljana (www.galerija.skuc-drustvo.si), and from July 2003 he runs the Galerija Gregor Podnar.
Amongst others he was the curator of the third U3 - the Triennale of Contemporary Slovene in 2000, co-curator of the Information/ Misinformation project in the framework of the 24th Biennial of Graphic Arts in Ljubljana in 2001 (together with Hans Ulrich Obrist), and co-curator of the September Horse exhibition in Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin in 2002 (together with Barnabas Bencsik). He curated solo exhibitions of Ingold Airlines, Raimond Caves, Attila Csörgo, Olaf Nicolai, Vadim Fiškin, Roman Signer, Goran Petercol, CM von Hausswolff, Leif Elggren, and others. In 2000 he initiated the MSE-network projects as a parallel activity to Manifesta 3 in Ljubljana. He was a mentor of the curatorial course of the SCCA-Ljubljana, Center for Contemporary Art (2000-2003).

Jorge Ribalta
(Barcelona, 1963) is an artist, critic and curator. Has made solo shows in galleries Zabriskie, New York (1994, 2000) and Paris (1996) and Estrany-De la Mota (Barcelona,1998).
Has participated in many group shows, such as: Anys 90, Distància Zero (Centre d'Art Santa Mònica, Barcelona, 1994), New Photography 10 (MOMA, New York, 1994) and Fragments (MACBA, Barcelona, 1996). Has curated the exhibitions Domini Públic (Centre d'Art Santa Mònica, Barcelona, 1994), El Carrer. Joan Colom a la Sala Aixelà, 1961 (MNAC, Barcelona, 1999) and Procesos Documentales. Imagen testimonial, subalternidad y esfera pública (La Capella, Barcelona, 2001).
He is co-editor of the book Indiferencia y singularidad. La fotografía en el pensamiento artístico contemporáneo (MACBA, Barcelona, 1997, second edition Gustavo Gili, Barcelona, 2003). Editor of the books Servicio Público. Conversaciones sobre financiación pública y arte contemporáneo (UAAV-Universidad de Salamanca, 1998) and Efecto real. Debates posmodernos sobre la fotografía (Gustavo Gili, 2004). Has contributed to newspapers (La Vanguardia), magazines (Parachute) and catalogues.
Since 1999 is Head of Public Programs at MACBA.

Simon Sheikh
is a critic and curator. He is the editor OE critical readers series, published by b_books. He is an Assistant Professpr of Art Theory and coordinator of the Critical Studies Programme, Malmö Art Academy, Sweden, and curator at NIFCA, Helsinki, Finland. He lives and works in Berlin and Copenhagen.
